libbind4-dev software package provides DNS resolver and message parsing static library and headers, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbind4-dev
libbind4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbind4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbind4-dev *
You will get with libbind4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
